Position SummaryNYU Law has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an Assistant Director of Alumni Relations and Development Communications. This role will support communications for the alumni audience at NYU Law by managing and implementing a communications production calendar, email marketing, event registration, fund raising, and relationship building initiatives to achieve stronger alumni support and ensure alumni remain connected with the School. This person will work closely with the Office of Communications including graphic designers, copyeditors, and mail houses to develop collateral for alumni events, development solicitations, and marketing materials for signature events throughout the calendar year. This role will also manage updates to the website, to meet accessibility standards, manage email marketing for events and other special international alumni community tailored outreach, help with transition from iModules, to Marketo/Cvent. Collaborate with the University Development and Alumni Relations office as needed. This role manages all alumni communications and will work with the email marketing system iModules and Marketo to schedule emails, create a monthly e-newsletter, a weekly events email, and track metrics for emails.QualificationsRequired Education:Bachelor's DegreeRequired Experience:3+ years relevant professional-level experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience with creating and maintaining printed and electronic documents for promotional use.Preferred Experience:Experience in an academic or nonprofit environment, especially in public relations or interactive media editorial production.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Demonstrated writing and editorial skills in electronic and print environments. Creativity in using the Internet and new technologies for marketing.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Must be well versed in quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data in NYU systems and be able to strictly follow data privacy and security procedures for data handling and analysis to ensure adherence to legal and institutional standards.Additional InformationEOE/AA/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disabled/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity
