We are a luxury lighting design studio and showroom looking for a proactive, personable, highly motivated and organized Sales Associate. Sales Associates are the primary face of the Studio to the outside world, representing our work and brand to the general public and design community. They coordinate between the Studio and the client throughout the entire speculation and purchase process, and are responsible for cultivating deep, personalized relationships with clients and the community. At LAS, the client experience is as much about the customer as it is about us.

To that end, Sales Associates are accountable for providing the highest level of care and creating warm, memorable experiences through upholding our client service principles:

  • We want clients to feel like we are always listening and that we understand exactly what they are looking for
  • We want to judge every experience we deliver and ask ourselves if it is good enough or memorable enough to tell their friends about it

Requirements

  • Experience in interior design/architecture firms, high-end retail or showroom environments strongly preferred;
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills;
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks; experience in a fast-paced, creative work environment;
  • Engage clients with passion, knowledge and support that is consistent with the studio s intention of leaving people feeling as though they have been hosted ;
  • Project a professional company image through all interactions;
  • Must be inquisitive, friendly, and proud of your work; but above all else, you are organized and have an outstanding attention to detail
  • Establish strong personal connection with clients to encourage customer loyalty and increase sales, meeting and exceeding sales goals;
  • Consult with clients and prospects regarding their individual needs; draw upon deep product knowledge to anticipate needs and provide marketing materials and sales support documents when appropriate;
  • Be able to identify and deliver upon client needs that are specific to the individual situation and interaction; deliver exceptional experiences that are consistent with the Studio s customer service aspirations;
  • Provide a personalized, yet professional level of service that is consistent with the studio s goals and aspirations regarding the client experience;
  • Resolve order-related issues by liaising between client and internal/external groups (e.g., Design, Operations);
  • Keep current with product information;
  • Identify opportunities, seek new initiatives, and participate in the development of functional and service enhancements in order to please and surprise our clientele
