Our client; a leader in the construction industry specializing in commercial and multi-family projects in New York is currently seeking an Office Manager/Accountant to join its dynamic team.The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of prior and current experience working for a General Contractor and will report directly to the CEO.This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including bookkeeping activities as well as oversight and monitoring of internal accounting processes and systems.

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred
Proven track record of 5-10yrs experience in a similar role in the construction industry
Superior management, leadership and development skills
Self-Motivated, detail-oriented, autonomous multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize their work
Proficiency with Sage software and Microsoft Office is required
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the construction process; subcontractor agreements, capital improvements, change orders, insurance etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrate discretion and trustworthiness in carrying out financial/accounting tasks
Salary Commensurate with Experience
