The Associate Brand Manager plays a critical role in helping to analyze, develop and implement annual consumer brand marketing plans, contributing to the strategic plan development by understanding the consumers needs to drive relevance and loyalty to our brands, and then executing the plans with excellence. The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years of progressive marketing or brand experience and a leadership style that fuses inspiration with a passion for making a difference.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Encourage organizational and customer engagement, alignment and excitement for brand strategy and annual plans.
  • Deliver Consumer Insights That Drive Action
  • Leverage consumer insights, translating them into actionable consumer driven marketing plans.
  • Innovate to Address Consumer Needs
  • Support the development and commercialization of insight-based innovation pipeline for the brand in conjunction with cross-functional teams including Strategy, Innovation, and Brand.
  • Drive Consumer Engagement Through Communication Strategy & Messaging
  • Be the steward of the brand and ensure all consumer communications and plans align with the overall brand strategy.
  • Use entrepreneurial thinking to find new and better ways to accomplish goals. Drive for excellence in execution.
  • Champion Our Brands and Drive Alignment Across the Organization
  • Clearly communicate brand plans, rallying internal partners behind brand initiatives.
  • Responsible for driving integration and alignment with cross-functional partners including:
  • Cross-portfolio sharing of data and consumer foundational knowledge with Brand teams
  • Influence and coordinate with supply chain, commercial, R&D, etc. on brand initiatives
  • Support the commercial organization with selling materials for brand initiatives
  • Measure Success
  • Manage brand marketing budgets working with cross-functional partners.
  • Set high performance standards, measure for success, and adjust plan to deliver against growth agenda.
  • Lead post-launch analyses for brand initiatives

  • Requirements

    Bachelors and MBA preferred

    2 years of marketing experience with a Fortune 500 CPG corporation following graduate school

    Strong project management skills

    Experience using syndicated data, such as IRI/Nielsen

    This role is based at the KDP Plano, TX office location. Relocation to DFW area is required with 10%-15% travel.
